2K Estate olive oil is a single variety extra virgin olive oil. It is produced in the fertile plains of Lamia in Fthiotida, Central Greece from the variety called Megaritiki. Collection and olive oil production takes place around the last ten days of October. It is the time and local climate conditions that allow the Megariti variety olives to balance between the intense green crop and slightly ripe, producing a fruity, mild and sweet extra virgin olive oil. Collection and processing is all done by hand ensuring the best possible crop quality while olive oil production takes place within 24 hours of collection. The fruity and subtle flavors make it ideal for raw consumption on fresh or boiled salads for everyday cooking and gourmet dishes.
